On Friday, November 8th, I attended the North Jersey Chamber of Commerce 2019 “Leads & Lunch, the Extension” small business networking event, which took place at Montclair State University.
Attended by 140 people, many of them owners of small to midsize businesses in the northern New Jersey area, the Chamber did a great job in creating a four-hour program which gave attendees plenty of time to network. Sponsors for the event, including banks, insurance brokers, financial advisers and marketing companies, were spread around the large conference room.
A panel comprised of five up and coming and dynamic business owners, answered many questions posed by the audience in what was a very informative session.
Also included were breakout sessions on Digital Marketing, Public Speaking, and Diversity & Inclusion, which added to a very successful event.
Overall, a very fun and informative event.
The North Jersey Chamber seems to be very active, providing many networking opportunities for business owners in the Northern New Jersey area.
